Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG)

Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) is made up of high density alpha-based gypsum and glass fiber reinforcement. GFRG products are custom fabricated along with the appropriate attachment systems using advanced technologies to ensure accuracy to specifications.

As a non-combustible material, GFRG can be used wherever a light, strong and fire retardant material is required, like in the casinos, hotels, theatres, and residential structures for moldings, ceilings, columns, light coves, bas relief, domes, capitals, medallions and other custom shapes. GFRG is malleable and can be cast into virtually any shape. Fabricated in a white colour, GFRG products can be easily painted to any desired colour. In addition, GFRG is relatively light in weight compared to traditional stone or plaster ornament.
